We’re gearing up to visit the beautiful campus of the Carroll University Center for Graduate Studies in Waukesha, Wisconsin this Thursday! We’ll be attending a special workshop hosted by the Society for Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS) Wisconsin Chapter on Client Development: The Key to Winning Work. Highlighting the event is a presentation by Matt Rebro, CPSM, a General Manager for ASI Signage Innovations, who will be sharing a scientific methodology for winning projects in the Architecture, Engineering and Consulting (AEC) industry. Inspired by an SMPS survey conducted by members Bruce Lea, FSMPS, and J. Rossi, Matt will present some of the findings around a firms’ client development behavior prior to an RFP being issued.
When we learned that others wanted to be a part of this very important topic too, especially members of the SMPS chapter in Madison, WI, we decided to help. We knew that some of our collegues and partners couldn’t take the time away to fly to Wisconsin, so we we’re inviting them and others to join the event telerobotically! By sending an email invitation directly from the device, those we invite will be able to control the Double to view the presentation and talk to others in the room, as if they were actually there. We’ll also be inviting in a special guest during a brief presentation by Maria Vedral, President of SilverEdge Software. We’re hoping to inspire others to think about how telepresence technology can be used to bring an important new dynamic to in-person events.
